Dear Lorane Families,
My name is Emily Seeberger and I would like to introduce myself as the School Counselor for Lorane Elementary School. Here is a little about me. I grew up in Norristown with my mom, dad, younger sister and brother as well as family pets. I currently live in Lancaster, PA. I love being outdoors, fishing, hiking and camping. On weekends, I spend most of my time hanging out with friends and family. I also love having creative projects to work on and want to use my creativity to be the best school counselor I can be at Lorane.
I completed my schooling at Millersville University where I received my BA in Psychology and my Master of Education in School Counseling. In 2014, I earned my K-12 Certification in School Counseling by completing my internship at Methacton High School and Eagleville Elementary School near Norristown. During this internship, I worked with two experienced supervisors who are the Coordinators of School Counseling in the Methacton School District. Currently I am a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and the Pennsylvania School Counselor Association (PSCA) and Berks Area School Counselor Association (BASCA).
I believe that every student should have the opportunity to learn in a safe and nurturing environment while at school. I also believe that each student is capable of being successful with the support of encouraging educators. Lorane provides both of these things and it is the reason I am so excited to be working here with all of your students.
As I get to know you and your families, please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, concerns or just to say hello. You will be able to contact me at 610-582-8608 ext. 4006 or through email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you and I can’t wait to learn more about all of you!
