    At Reiffton
As an ESL teacher, I work closely with students who speak a language other than English.  These students learn English through reading, writing, listening, and speaking.  I also work with small groups of students during RtII (Response to Instruction and Intervention) time to help them with their reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and writing skills.  I look forward to working with many diverse students at Reiffton this year!
    Educational Background
After graduating from Northampton Area High School, I continued my education at Millersville University where I majored in Elementary Education K-6.  After I graduated, I attended Lehigh Carbon Community College to receive my Program Specialist Certification in English as a Second Language.  In addition, I graduated from Wilkes University in December 2015 with my Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language.  I graduated from Wilkes University in May 2018 with my Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist.
This is my seventh year at Reiffton as an English as a Second Language and Reading Intervention Specialist.  Prior to coming to Exeter Township School District, I worked in Northampton Area School District for three years and worked with Kindergarten to 3rd grade ESL students in Chester, PA for one year.
    Personal Background
I have been married to my husband, Bob, for four years.  We have two young boys, Mason and Tyler.  My family and I enjoy watching the Phillies, Iron Pigs, Flyers, and Eagles.  We also love spending as much time together as we can squeeze in during everyone's busy schedule.
