My name is Mrs. Sheila Ergott and I am the English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher for students in grades kindergarten through fourth grade. In ESL, we focus on acquiring English in the areas of Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. I have been working in the Exeter School District since January of 2014. I love my job and I have a wonderful group of students that I get to work with.
I am originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University in 2009. I received my English as a Second Language certificate from Penn State in 2011. In 2015, I received my Master’s of Education and Reading Specialist certification from Kutztown University. My teaching experience includes time as a daily substitute teacher for various school districts. I was a long term substitute for an elementary RtI Math program at Conestoga Valley School District. I spent three years teaching ESL at Muhlenberg Middle School prior to coming to Exeter School District. My husband, my son, and I currently live in Royersford.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about your child or the ESL program.
