Welcome to 7th and 8th grade Reading and English as a Second Language!  This is my 12th year working at Exeter and my 15th year as a teacher.  I graduated from Mansfield University with a BSE in Earth and Space Science as well as Colorado State University with a Masters in English/Teaching English as a Second Language.  I have 2 children, ages 7 and 6, who keep me very busy outside of school!  I am an avid runner, skier and love to travel.  

Reading class meets every other day for 42 minutes and is a year long class.  One of my jobs is to support you in English class.  This might include preteaching skills, strategies, or vocabulary, revisiting a short story, or providing you with extra time to complete a writing assignment.  Despite the name of this class, we will also work on improving writing skills.
