Welcome to the 2019 - 2020 School Year!!
I hope everyone had an awesome summer!  I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year!   A friendly reminder that you will need athletic shorts/pants (blue or black), socks, sneakers (that can tie) & athletic (no sleeveless or v-neck) t-shirt (Exeter or solid blue/gray/black/white) within the first week of school.  We will begin the school year fulfilling the requirement of getting everyone's height, weight & vision check on the first day of school.  During the first week of school students will be assigned a gym locker and will be introduced to the course syllabus to review the course requirements and expectations.    Course documents (syllabus and make-up work template) can be found on schoology.

    A little bit about me:
Along with being a health and physical education teacher, I am also a certified athletic trainer.  I have always loved sports, how the body works, and teaching so I decided to combine them all!  I have worked in the collegiate and high school settings for both teaching and athletic training which has allowed me to work with a variety of people.  I want an active, positive, and fun classroom!

My teaching career started at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Fairfax County, Virginia where I was also the assistant athletic trainer for all sports.  I'm from Berks County and moved back here to be closer to family.  I was an athletic trainer in the industrial setting for 4 years prior to coming to Exeter as a long-term substitute at Reiffton School as a health/PE teacher.   Along with teaching at Exeter, I have also taught a course at PSU Berks in Nutrition.

Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time with my family.  My husband and I have a 6 year old son, Keegan, who keeps us on our toes!  We enjoy going to sporting events and being outside.  I have completed several half marathons, my favorite being the Disney Princess Half Marathon!  My husband and I try to do 5k races throughout the year.  I have also completed Spartan races at Blue Mountain and Citizens Bank Park.  During the fall we head out to Pittsburgh for Pitt football games and love the beach in the summers!

And I can't leave this page without saying:   LET'S GO PITT and Here we go STEELERS!!!!
