Jason DeaneAssistant Principal, Exeter Township Senior High School(610)-779-3060 ext. 2147JBDeane@exeter.k12.pa.us
I am looking forward to another year at Exeter High School. We have accomplished so much and it is a pleasure to work alongside so many dedicated teachers, support staff, and administrators. My background includes four years in the Marine Corps. where I found a deeper appreciation for persistence, excellence, and teamwork. I also found my passion for teaching. After serving in the Marine Corps. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree from West Chester University and my Master’s degree from Alvernia University. I spent six years as a special education teacher in an emotional support classroom before accepting a position as an assistant principal. I love the opportunities to work with students and teachers to enhance school climate and educational opportunities for students.
It is a privilege to educate and inspire students. We want to respect this honor by providing a safe, encouraging environment with rigorous educational challenges designed to prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s demands. When students enter high school they have already attended school for more than 1,400 days throughout their educational history; learning to work with peers, resolve conflict, respect authority and face challenges. These skills combined with the opportunity to receive a top notch Exeter education is what will set our students apart and make them successful when they graduate.I am excited for the start of the new year and the chance to encourage your son or daughter to success. If your student has difficulty accessing their education for any reason please contact us so we can work together to resolve the concern.
