My name is Mrs. Dani Jupina, and I teach second grade at Owatin Creek Elementary School. I have an undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master's of Education from West Chester University. I have previously taught both first and fourth grade. My family lives in Exeter, and my husband and I have two children. My daughter will be attending her senior year of college and my son is a senior at the high school.
My goal as a teacher is to differentiate my instruction in order to meet the needs of each learner, and I have high expectations for every student in my classroom. I strive each day to challenge all of my students to take ownership of their learning by actively engaging them in the learning process. I also believe that an elementary classroom should be a model of acceptance and cooperation, and I encourage my students to treat each other with respect and kindness.
When I am not teaching, my hobbies include spending time with my family, gardening, reading, and going to the beach.
I look forward to getting to know all of my students this year! Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions.
