Hello! My name is Mrs. Angstadt.
I am very excited to be teaching in the Exeter School District! It is very important to me that each child develops a love of learning, while having fun and developing skills to last a lifetime. Students spend many hours within the walls of a school, and I will always strive to create a welcoming environment where everyone is appreciated.
A little about me:
I am a 2004 graduate of Exeter and I am very happy to be working in the district I grew up in. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kutztown University in May of 2008 with a dual certification in Elementary and Special Education. I spent my first year at Exeter teaching 3rd grade at M.L. Lausch Elementary School, and have since moved on to teaching elementary school learning support. I completed my Master's Degree in Education through Cabrini College. Outside of school I love to read, participate in community theatre, play with my adorable dog, Sophia, and spend time with my family and friends. My favorite animals are dogs and dolphins, and my favorite color is pink!
About my classroom:
This year I will have students in both 3rd and 4th grades. We will work on reading skills such as reading fluency and comprehension, in addition to written expresson skills, spelling skills, and mathematical skills. I also support my students in their regular education classrooms in both mathematics and reading. When in my classroom, students work on their instructional levels in small group settings to achieve their goals in reading and mathematics. Every student will make individual progress this school year!
If you ever have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me at anytime. I am always happy to do whatever I can to help your student grow.
