I received my bachelor's degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University in 1996. Soon after I started my Reading Specialist master's degree program through Kutztown University. In addition to receiving my master's degree in 2001, I have also taken other graduate level courses through Gratz College and Millersville University.
My teaching career began in 1996 as an itinerant learning support teacher for Daniel Boone School District. The following year, I accepted a learning support position for Exeter Township. Since 1997, I have taught learning support at Lorane Elementary School. Although I have worked with grades K thourgh 6, I am currently providing learning support services to students in both third & fourth grade. Within the learning support classroom, the students focus on developing and improving basic skills in the areas of math, reading, and writing.
My philosophy is...all students have the ability to learn.
