    Name: Mrs. Marian Cain
    Room #:
I have been teaching in the Exeter district since 1993, when I began as a Learning Support Inclusion teacher at Lorane.  In succeeding years I taught Pre-First and Fourth grades, but spent many years at the Third grade level.  For five years I was the Gifted Support teacher both at Lorane and at Reiffton for the 5th grade, as well as filling a dual position as an Intervention Support teacher at Lorane for one year; I most recently worked several years at Reiffton as the full-time Gifted Support teacher. I received my B.A. in English/Elementary Education from  Immaculata University (where I also taught for several years), and my M.A. in Theater from the University of Illinois. Although I grew up in Wyomissing, I lived in Coatesville, West Chester, and Downingtown, PA, and also in Illinois  and Virginia, before settling back in the Reading area. All 4 of my daughters have gone through the Exeter school system, and we still live here in the Township.  In my "spare time", I work on theater productions, I shower affection on my grandcchildren,  I am an avid reader, and I enjoy crocheting and knitting. Oh . . . and I LOVE to sing--so don't be surprised to hear me warbling in the classroom!
