    Technology and Information Services Department 

     

    The Exeter Township School District is committed to using technology as a tool in the classrooms to support learning. Technology plays a critical role in the development, delivery, and digestion of 21st-century learning.     The district's IT department oversees not only the district’s network and infrastructure, but also is charged with focusing the department’s efforts on ensuring that the technology is integrated into instruction is both reliable and effective. The department is structured to provide an increased focus on academic support and technology integration through the work of two full-time technology integration specialists and three full-time technical support specialists.

     

    Technology plays a large roll in the administration of data. Implementation of the Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS) is overseen by the IT department. The department utilizes technology to synchronize data between our finance, student information, transportation, communication, library, grading, integrated learning, and authentication systems to avoid duplication of efforts.
