A Little Bit About Me:
I have lived in Berks C, Pennsylvania since 2001 . I am a graduate of Conestoga High School in Chester County, where I was very active in sports. I loved to run and was a member of the track and swim team. I attended the University of Miami and am a member of Delta Gamma sorority. I earned my Masters in 1990 and was eager to get into the classroom. My studies have been a wonderful addition to my education and have provided me with many resources to use in my classroom.
The 2018-2019 school year will be my thirteenth year working in the Exeter Township School District. I spent eight years working as the Learning Support Math teacher at Exeter Junior High School. I then spent three years at Jacksonwald Elementary as the K-2 supplemental learning support teacher. Last year I was the 5th grade Itinerant Support teacher at Reiffton School. I am now proud to be part of the Exeter High School staff as the Autistic Support teacher. I am excited to be teaching in the Exeter Township School District. The staff is amazing and supportive. Every day is a new challenge and I love what I do.
When I am not at School:
I live in the Oley Valley with my husband Randolph. We love living in an area with beautiful farms and that country feel. We have two teenagers who keep us on our toes and moving all the time. Our oldest is our son, Benno, is 15 years old and is a bright and funny young man. He is an amazing artist and loves growing plants in his greenhouse. Benno has been on the Oley Envirothon Team for the last three years and this year he competed on the state team for Oley FFA. He will be in tenth grade this year. Our daughter, Anna, is 13 years old. She is such an amazing young lady. She is our rough and tumble Tom Boy and enjoys running around outside and exploring everythingloves all things aneme, and is learning French as well as Japanese in her spare time. She also is a fish in the pool all summer and loves riding horses. She will be in eighth grade this year. We know we are truly blessed and wouldn't trade a minute of our lives for anything in the world. Our family loves to visit Chincoteague Island yearly to see the horses, ride our bikes and spend time at the beach.
