    Course Information/Background
     
    Welcome to 8th grade Early American Cultures! I am looking forward to meeting you all and having an exciting semester. Throughout the course we will travel through American history and learn about the people, culture, places, wars, and changes in government. We will begin learning about the founding of America and end with the Civil War. During the semester we will take a field trip to the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia to explore our nation's government.
