WELCOME BACK Students of Exeter Township to another school year.  Over this summer I spent time thinking about how I could improve upon my teaching skills and teaching style.   As a teacher, I put most of the onus on myself to find various ways to motivate and to help students achieve the standards set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.  However, as hard as I try, I cannot do it alone.  I need your help.   In order to have a successful physical education program, participation, and cooperation are essential.  In physical education, the student is the most important aspect. Physical education allows students to experience learning and realize the benefits of a physically active and healthy lifestyle.  My goals are to educate, encourage, and help students to improve their physical fitness. In addition, my students should feel safe and welcomed within in our facilities.  During our time together we will develop goal-setting, teamwork, respect, and responsibility.  Ultimately students should gain valuable personal and social skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives while having fun in a physically challenging environment.
