Welcome to Exeter Senior High School's Art Department. My name is Christina Pinkerton and I have been teaching here at the high school since 2005.  My first 4 years were spent teaching 9th grade three dimensional design and 9th-12th grade Fundamentals of Art.  Currently, I am teaching Fine Arts I, Fine Arts II, Design, Fundamentals of Art II, Crafts, Ceramics, Studio Art History, AP Art History and Portfolio Preparation.
I graduated from Kutztown University with a Fine Arts degree, a Post Baccalaureate certification in Art Education and a Masters of Art Education.  I was in the art industry for 19 years as the owner/operator of my own business, selling art supplies and doing custom framing.  During that time, I worked closely with the professors and students at Kutztown University as well as with other commercial accounts and numerous local artists in regards to their project needs. I have been an adjunct instructor at Reading Area Community College since 2003, teaching Drawing I, Design, Painting and Art Appreciation. I'm looking forward to the upcoming year as I work with the students as they create exciting projects in all of my art classes.
