I decided that I wanted to become a physical education teacher, after having a positive experience in high school physical education, at Reading Central Catholic. I have vivid memories of laughing & having fun, while being physically active & I wanted to provide the same experience for others.
After 4.5 years at WCU, I began my teaching career as a long-term substitute, here at Exeter High School, in the Spring of 2003. Next, I taught health & physical education at DHH Lengel Middle School, in Pottsville Pa. My next position was at Renaissance Academy, in Phoenixville Pa teaching elementary & middle school health & physical education. In 2006-2007 I began teaching at Exeter Township High School. I thoroughly enjoy teaching Fitness & Strength at EHS. It gives me the daily opportunity to share my passion for health & physical activity.
Outside of teaching, I am a very busy wife & mother of 3. I live in Lower Pottsgrove with my husband, Matt & 3 sons, Cameron, Emory & Harlan & our dog, Gette. We enjoy spending lots of time outdoors taking walks, hiking & simply playing together.
