Bienvenidos...Welcome to the wonderful world of Spanish! As you know, my name is Tammy DeFusco, or as my students refer to me...Señora D. I am a 1994 graduate of Kutztown University and most of my teaching career, 22 years to be exact, has been here in the Exeter School Distirct beginning at the junior high and then moving here to the high school. Previously, I taught at both Upper Perkiomen High School and Indian Valley Middle School. I received my Masters in Education from Gratz University and hope to enhance the learning experience of each of my students through what I was taught and took away in those years back in school myself.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching however, in my free time, I also enjoy reading, interior decorating and going to the beach with my husband and my two children (who definitely keep me busy in my time away from school)!
Well...we have many exciting activities planned for the 2017-2018 school year and I am looking forward to sharing with all of my students my love of the Spanish language and culture. We will soon be talking about some interesting projects coming up in all classes so keep checking the website for more information. Let's just say be prepared to sing, dance, and just have a GREAT time!! For those of you who may be a little shy...we can certainly come up with other ideas...not to worry. Also, if you are preparing ahead of time for this upcoming school year by doing some back to school shopping, I would like all of my students to have a 1" binder with a clear cover on the front and back and a notebook for class by the end of the first week in order to stay organized. Muchas Gracias!!
