• Dear Absent Student

This reading strategy asks you to write a short summary about the days' reading to an absent student. It helps you identify the main topic discussed in the reading and calls for 3 or more details to explain it. Lastly, its asks for you to make a connection to something we discussed in class or explained in a previous lesson. Use the template given to structure your note.

The general 3-2-1 asks you too identify 3 important facts from the reading, 2 questions you may have, and 1 idea you found interesting. Occasionally, I will give you a more specific instructions for an assigned reading.  The link is a template of a 3-2-1.
