Dr. Robert Phillips - Superintendent
The Board of Directors of the Exeter Township School District appointed Robert E. Phillips, Ed.D. as Superintendent of Schools on October 20, 2015 for a term from January 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019.
Dr. Phillips served as the Director of Pupil Services in the Pennridge Area School District from 2005 through 2015. In that position he was responsible for all aspects of district financial, educational, and administrative leadership in the areas of Special Education, Gifted Education, Pupil Services, Health Services, Guidance Counselors, Instructional Support Team personnel, Student Registration, and Child Accounting. Prior to that he served as the Director of Special Education and Student Services in the Coatesville Area School District from 2003-2005, as Assistant Principal in the same district from 2002-2003, and as Supervisor of Special Education at the Luzerne Intermediate Unit from 2000-2002.
After receiving a B.A. from Villanova University, Dr. Phillips earned a Master’s Degree in Human Organization from Villanova, a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Marywood University (Scranton, PA), Special Education Certificate, School Administrator Certificate, Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction Certificate, Superintendent Letter of Eligibility, and Doctorate in Education from St. Joseph’s University.
