Your child has brought home, or will be bringing home in the next day or two, an order form from Art To Remember. Every student has worked very hard on creating their own special piece for this project. On the front of the order form you will see a copy of the art your child created. Please ask your child to explain talk to you about what they drew in their piece. Ask them what they used to add the color. Students have been very excited about this for weeks and are extremely excited to finally be able to share it with their families.
The art on the front of the order form can be ordered on any of the items listed. These make perfect presents for those who are hard to shop for. In order to ensure that the school receives the items you ordered in time for the holidays, please submit your order no later than Monday, November 11.
Some students weren’t finished in time to have their artwork printed on the order form. These students will be receiving a more generic order form to take home, along with their original artwork. Please make sure that the artwork is RETURNED TO SCHOOL. This is needed in order for any orders to be placed. Additionally, the piece will be hung in the school-wide art show this spring. These orders also need to be placed by November 11, in order for items to be delivered in time for the holidays.

The school year has taken off running in the art rooms at Jacksonwald and Lorane. All students are working on creating a piece for a project we are doing with Art To Remember. This company allows parents to purchase their child's art on a variety of items from t-shirts to mousepads to Christmas ornaments. Right now students are working on finishing their piece so artwork can be sent back to Art To Remember. Look for more information on the oppurtunity to order your child's art on different items to come home at the end of October. Their orginial pieces will be hung at the art show in spring and then returned at the end of the year. Students are super excited about this project and the oppurtunity to have their artwork printed!
