Reiffton School

Our school offers many opportunities for all students to succeed through a balanced curriculum. Reiffton School offers the following classes:

13 Fifth Grade Classes (including 4 virtual classes)
12 Sixth Grade Classes (including 4 virtual classes)
    1 Itinerant Support Teacher
    4 Learning Support Teachers
    1 Life Skills Class
    1 Multiple Disabilities Class
During a four-day cycle, students attend Library, Physical Education, Art, and music. The needs of individual students are met through our Guidance Counselors, Psychologist, Gifted Teachers, Reading Specialist, Speech Therapist, Physical Therapist, Elementary Student Assistance Program (ESAP), ESL Teacher, Intervention Specialist, and one full time Certified School Nurse. Instructional aides support classroom instruction for both fifth and sixth grade classrooms. Our math aides have helped to provide additional time to those students who need extra support.

Reiffton School has been extremely fortunate to have a very caring and supportive Association of Parents and Teachers (APT). This outstanding organization is made up of parents, teachers and administrators. The Reiffton APT provides educational assemblies, fundraisers, and family nights.

In an effort to provide a well-rounded education for each student we offer many activities in which students may participate. Each year students in fifth grade spend time at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. A major highlight of the year comes in December and May when our fifth and sixth grade chorus, strings and band students perform for both students and parents. Additionally, each students’ art talent is displayed at the annual Reiffton Art/Create Experience in May. We are very proud of the talents and skills of all the students of Reiffton School.  Each year our goal is to help our students reach their full potential and make the most of their two years at Reiffton School.
