    Overdue Policy

Overdue fines are 10 cents per school day for each item. There is a three-day grace period with no fines assigned.  Fines do not accrue on weekends or any time the library is closed.

The maximum fine per book is $10.00.

At the end of each marking period, students who have unpaid fines totaling over $5.00 will receive an automated phone call from the school informing them of the obligation.

All fines must be resolved prior to a graduate receiving their diploma.

    Lost or Damaged Library Materials

Students will be charged a replacement fee for lost or damaged books.

Students who return lost materials that have been paid for will receive a refund.

Students will be charged a fee for damaged materials at the discretion of the librarian.

If materials are damaged beyond repair, a replacement fee will be charged.

    Study Hall Guidelines

    1. Students must get a pass from the library in the morning between 7:20 am and 7:30 am or between classes.  There will be no exceptions to this unless study hall teachers call 2331 or 2334 for permission to send students.

    2. Students must stay in the library unless they have a signed pass from a teacher.  They must sign out if they leave before the end of the period.

    3. Students will not be permitted to use cell phones in the library. Upon entering, students will place cell phones in the carousel inside the main door. Cell phones will remain in that caddy for the entire class period.
