    Dual Enrollment Program

    Introduction

Exeter Township Senior High School has entered into a dual enrollment agreement with Reading Area Community College whereby students earn college credit while they are still in high school.

    Particulars about the program include:

    • DUAL ENROLLMENT – participating students will receive credit from both ETHS and RACC.
    • TRANSFERABILITY – Since these courses would be traditional college freshman selections, the transferability factor is extremely high. Students should contact the registrar’s office of colleges they plan to make application to in order to confirm that the transfer credits will be accepted.  Students should also be aware that some colleges may not give credit to courses that are used to fulfill high school graduation requirements.  Students are encouraged to consult with their school counselor for specific requirements.  RACC courses are highly transferable.  Click here for a listing of transferability information for several local colleges and universities.
    • RACC TRANSCRIPT - Upon graduation from EHS, dual enrollment students must request to have their RACC transcript sent to the college they will be attending in order to receive credit. You can access information about this process and all the forms necessary from RACC's Transcript Request.
    • TUITION AND FEES – RACC dual enrollment tuition for 2018-19 has been set at $99 per credit.

Please contact your school counselor for specific information regarding dual enrollment course availability and application deadlines.  Click on the link below for a sample listing of course offerings.
