  • In our virtual learning environment, here are some expectations you the student can have of me, your teacher.

    I will...

    • support you every way that I can
    • connect you with other teachers as needed
    • be on time for our LIVE synchronous learning time
    • be prepared for each lesson
    • give clear directions
    • give you brain breaks & ask that you request them when needed
    • answer your Schoology questions as many times as you ask them
    • provide videos to technology & learning resources
    • give you feedback/comments on your assignments
    • give reminders for assignments due in the future
    • communicate with you using Schoology messanger, your Google email, live Zoom meetings

     

     

  • In our virtual learning environment, here are some expectations I, your teacher, have of you the student.

    When possible, I expect for you to...

    • smile
    • participate when comfortable & in your own way. Participation may look different for each of you :-)
    • ask for help when needed
    • be on time for our LIVE synchronous learning time
    • be prepared for each lesson with needed materials
    • respectfully ask for brain breaks if needed
    • ask questions about: our lessons, Schoology, First in Math, IXL, FlipGrid, PearDeck, other programs
    • read the feedback/comments I make on your assignments
    • use reminders for assignments due in the future so they aren't late
    • read all directions before starting an assignment
    • communicate with me using Schoology messanger, your Google email, live Zoom meetings

    I will...

    • support you & your child every way that I can, so they can grow as a learner & citizen
    • connect you with other teachers as needed (Guidance Counselors, Principals, Specialists)
    • be on time for your child's LIVE synchronous learning time
    • give your child brain breaks during the day other than lunch
    • answer your grading & Schoology questions
    • provide videos to technology & learning resources
    • give your child feedback/comments on their assignments
    • post reminders for assignments due in the future
    • communicate with you using email
    • be understanding of parent work schedules, both at & outside of the home, & will work with you to determine the best course of action for your child's educational needs
    • be supportive of all learner's levels of technology use
