After graduating from Exeter in 1995, I completed my undergraduate work at West Chester University. I began my teaching career here in Exeter in 2001. In 2008 I received my Master's degree in education. I first taught here at Lorane, second grade for 5 years, then first grade for 5 years. I transferred to Owatin when it opened and taught third grade for 5 years. I am absolutely thrilled to be moving back to Lorane, "my home", to take on my next teaching adventure...4th grade! :)
Some of my hobbies are baking, running & working out, taking hikes...really just about any activity outside! I also LOVE playing with my two dogs, Pudge and Foxy! Both are Jack Russell Terriers. Pudge is 12 years old & Foxy is only 12 weeks old! They are my "babies" and totally spoiled!
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was seven years old, and feel so lucky to have my dream job! I love what I do and hope that the students can feel my enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
