After graduating from Exeter in 1995, I completed my undergraduate work at West Chester University. I began my teaching career here in Exeter in 2001. In 2008 I received my Master's degree in education. I first taught here at Lorane, second grade for 5 years, then first grade for 5 years. I transferred to Owatin when it opened and taught third grade for 5 years. I am absolutely thrilled to be back to Lorane, "my home", in 4th grade! :)
Some of my hobbies are baking, running & working out, taking hikes...really just about any activity outside! I also LOVE playing with my two dogs, Pennie and Foxy! Both are Jack Russell Terriers. Pennie is 2 years old & Foxy is only 3 years old! They are my "babies" and totally spoiled!
A new addition to my life is my foster son, Kayden! He is so much fun! We are hoping to adopt this sweet little guy...possibly by the end of the year! Fingers crossed!
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was seven years old, and feel so lucky to have my dream job! I love what I do and hope that the students can feel my enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
