    All About English Language Arts:
We will be exploring numerous types of formal and informal writing assignments that will vary in length. A few types of writing we will cover this year are text-depenent analysis essays and argumentative, narrative, and informational writing. You will discover what type of writing you like best. You will become a better writer as we go through the steps of the writing process and further develop our grammar skills. In addition, we will dive into different genres of literature through our theme-based collections. We will read, discuss, and explore The Giver and the accelerated classes will read Animal Farm or The Diary of Anne Frank also. We will have a fun time while we enhance our reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills!
"Begin each day as if it were on purpose."
