Reiffton School

Our school offers many opportunities for all students to succeed through a balanced curriculum. Reiffton School offers the following classes:

12 Fifth Grade Classes
14 Sixth Grade Classes
2 Itinerant Support Teachers
4 Learning Support Teachers
1 Behavior Specialist
1 Autistic Support Teacher
1 Life Skills Class

During a six-day cycle, students attend Library, Physical Education, Art, Music and Chorus. The needs of individual students are met through our Guidance Counselors, Psychologist, Gifted Teachers, Reading Specialist, Speech Therapist, Physical Therapist, Elementary Student Assistance Program (ESAP), ESL Teacher, Instructional Support Teacher, and one full time nurse. Instructional aides support classroom instruction for both fifth and sixth grade classrooms. Our reading and math aides have helped to provide additional time to those students who need extra support.

Reiffton School has been extremely fortunate to have a very caring and supportive Association of Parents and Teachers (APT). This fantastic organization is made up of parents, teachers and administrators. The Reiffton APT provides educational assemblies, fundraisers, family nights and is responsible for Reiffton School’s Annual Monster Mash Bash during the fall.

In an effort to provide a well-rounded education for each student we offer many activities in which students may participate. Each year students in grade six tour Washington, D.C., while fifth grade students spend time at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. A major highlight of the year comes in December and May when our fifth and sixth grade chorus, strings and band students perform for both students and parents. Additionally, each students’ art talent is displayed at the annual Art Show in May. We are very proud of the talents and skills of all the students of Reiffton School.
Each year our goal is to help our students reach their full potential and make the most of their two years at Reiffton School.
