Homework is an essential element in the retention and retrieval of math concepts, procedures, and success.  It is imperative that students complete their assignments to the best of their ability.

À    Assignments will not carry a point value for grade calculation.

À    They will be check periodically with a question and answer session at the end of every class period, and they will be used to initiate the Assessment Mastery System (Retake Policy) for tests and quizzes.

À    Incomplete assignments must be credited by 7:40 the day after the assignment was missing or incomplete.  In order to qualify for the Assessment Mastery System only one assignment may be missed per chapter.

À    Requirements to receive full credit for an assignment:

Ø All work is to be completed in pencil

Ø All work shown

Ø Name date and period at top right corner of each assignment

Ø Assignment pages and numbers at top center of each assignment

Ø Each problem must be numbered
