Jacksonwald Card System

Any incidents of inappropriate behavior will be addressed through a five colored card system that provides each student with the chance to monitor their behavior and make positive changes.

Green - Students will first be given a gentle reminder of the school's expectations.

Yellow -  A second infraction will result in the student receiving a second verbal warning.

Orange - A third infraction will result in a 5 minute "Think about it" within the classroom. This provides the student a chance to think about and verbalize strategies to the teacher that indicate he/she is ready to be successful.

Pink -   A fourth infraction will result in the student reporting to a designated classroom to take a "Think about it" break while completing a behavior sheet for their parents to sign.

White -  Another infraction will result in the student being sent to the Principal's Office and a phone made to the parent.  Additional consequences are very likely at this point.

Anything deemed serious in nature by the teacher will result in the card system being circumvented and the student being sent directly to the office.
