"There is a fine line between walking the path and knowing the path."

 

 

I have been a seventh grade social studies teacher here at the Junior High School since 2005. I certainly enjoy working with students of this age. I definitely appreciate the opportunity to work with these young people everyday and help them to become productive citizens as they move on with their lives.

 

I received my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education through Penn State as well as my masters through the University of Scranton in the field of Curriculum and Instruction. I plan on staying in the trenches along side my students for quite a few more years and then decide where to go from there in terms of my educational career.

 

Besides teaching, I work with the students in different activities. I have been the stage crew manager for the Junior High plays for the past seven years. I also coach junior high girls volleyball. I like to stay as active as possible in the school community, which gives me the chance to see the students involved in activities and programs they like to do.
