Guten Tag, meine Damen und Herren! Hello, ladies and gentlemen! My name is Herr Deibert, and I'm a certified German and English teacher in the Exeter School District. I've been teaching in the District for 15 years, after having taught German and English in the New Jersey public schools for 10 years.
At the Junior High, I teach 7th grade Exploratory German, 8th grade Introduction to German, and 8th grade German I. The Exploratory German course is a six-week offering that parallels two other similar courses in Spanish and French. The Introduction to German course is a second semester course for 8th grade students who elect to continue their study of German, while the German I full-year class is for selected 8th graders who display language learning potential in the grade seven Exploratory German course.
I've earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, German, from Kutztown University, and a Master's Degree in Education from Wilkes University. In addition, I've studied and traveled extensively in the German-speaking countries of Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany.
